Job Overview
Senior Mechanical Engineer ka main role hai mechanical design aur execution ko oversee karna across large-scale projects including:
- Oil & gas facilities
- Commercial buildings
- Infrastructure and smart-city developments
- Water treatment & HVAC systems
Aapko ensure karna hoga ke design aur construction international mechanical codes & standards ke mutabiq ho, aur client requirements efficiently meet karein.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Review & Coordination
- Mechanical design drawings, tender documents, aur technical specifications ka analysis karna.
- Building services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) ke liye compliance ensure karna.
- Engineering drawings aur design calculations ko validate karna.
- Project Supervision & Quality Control
- Contractors ke work progress aur technical quality monitor karna.
- Site inspections conduct karna aur ensure karna ke installation design standards ke mutabiq ho.
- Technical problems resolve karna aur client ko updates dena.
- Team & Client Management
- Multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, architectural) ke saath coordinate karna.
- Clients ke saath regular progress meetings attend karna.
- Engineering team members ko mentor karna aur project delivery streamline karna.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Weekly/monthly progress reports prepare karna.
- Change orders aur technical queries handle karna.
- Project closure aur handover documentation manage karna.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in building services, mechanical systems design, or infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC design software, and MS Project.
- Strong working knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and BS/EN standards.
- Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects under strict deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with mega-projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC region.
- Prior work on Oil & Gas or Smart City developments.
- Leadership experience in project design & delivery teams.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is a plus.
